ITA is a non-profit organisation with the mission to promote tourism excellence in South East Europe.
ITA organises professional educational programs in cooperation with established institutions that are aimed at educated managers and specialists willing to improve their knowledge.
We enable the exchange of know-how and the world’s best practices; we encourage entrepreneurship in tourism industry and networking in the South East Europe.
Our aim is that regional cooperation through our association results in the creation of new projects and new touristic services, greater number of tourists travelling the region and in the better understanding of tourism and its influence on the society in general.
First joint ITA-Cornell program was opened by Damir Bajs, Croatian Tourism Minister.
ITA's activities presented on the RCI Regional Tourism Steering Committee in Podgorica on 16 Nov 2010.
ITA director, Marja-Francesca Kovač presented the association and future Cornell programs to be held in Croatia.
40 associations and non-profit organisations granted funds for tourism and hospitality professional and educational programs
